That's one less worry! Now I just have to finish my financing (which should hopefully happen today) and get a place. (Not so easy... >< So yeah, I'm officially registered as a animation student at Capilano University now!! (It was sooo easy too!)

Yay. I'm just happy today. Lately I've been watching a helluva lot of different anime as well as reading a lot of manga. It's funny, because my Japanese vocabulary is growing pretty quick from it. Maybe that'll help me later in life if I ever get shipped off to work in Japan or something. I swear, most Japanese words are so much better than English ones. Especially 'hai.' It basically means yes, but I've noticed from watching lots of Vampire Knight in which they say it a LOT that it can also mean 'okay,' 'fine,' 'alright'... such a wonderful little word. (By the way, if you want to learn nice basic Japanese words, VK is a great anime to watch.)

Blah. So yeah, I've been watching lotsa anime. Here's mah list!
1. Bleach - always flipping awesome & horribly addictive
2. Vampire Knight - I've watched it over at least four times now - it's that good
3. Darker than Black - another awesome anime; the main character is brilliant and the storyline is fantastic
4. Samurai Champloo - kinda funny and nice for when I want to watch something set in a more 'old fashioned' world (which I love)

I'm hyper today. Maybe it's because I finally got a good sleep in! WOOT! (That and it isn't too warm today.) Also, Aleria got a cellphone and taught me how to add puncuation to my text messaging. (It was making me twitch sooo badly.) Only thing is that I shouldn't text her too much because texting isn't on my phone plan and my parents are paying for my phone plan.

So yes, I am happy today! I like being happy.
...I believe it's time for another delightful dose of Vampire Knight... (I did tell you I was obsessed. )

Emperor's Blood is at a really good part. I think I need an internet silence day or two (or maybe even a week...) to finish it off. Stupid anime just draws me in damnit!

Thanks to all you guys who watch me and my stuff, I'm sorry I take so long to get back to comments these days!!!! I feel wretched about it.

...go drool guys. I commissioned back in march to customize a model for me of Eqaetz from Emperor's Blood, and she just finished. He looks frigging fantastic, seriously. I can't wait to see him in all his real glory!

To celebrate, I'm posting a part of EB that has Eqaetz in it later. I just can't stand how cool he is. He's definately my favourite stallion from Rimer. He's just so bad ass for a horse.

...and he's going to get even cooler in Sky Wolf! (Same with Ki of course.)

OMG YES I AM A MOVED COOKIE! My new house kicks even more ass than I remember. My plan now is to enjoy the rest of my summer while working out college details. I'm entering a new painting of mine in a gallery fundraiser thing (so woot, more of my art is gonna get sold!) where the artist gets 50% of the profit. Isn't that nice? (Speaking of which I'd better finish said painting, it's sitting on my floor half done...)

Moving went well, though it was VERY tiring. Last night we went and had Japanese food (fricking awesome stuff) because we were all too tired to cook. My new room is a tad bit smaller than my old room, but I don't care, because A. it isn't in an attic & B. I can ACTUALLY stand up straight in it. No more bending!!! (Sloped ceilings are NOT cool!)

My new house is kinda maze like, so I've been calling it the Hazy Maze Cave after Mario '64. I love it! There's different levels to the floors, so it makes walking about it really interesting. My cat HATED moving in yesterday, he was panicking for ages and he ended up hiding in a box until like 8 pm. Today he's much better and he's established my room as his terriotory, which is really good because it'll deter our other two cats. (He's currently passed out on my bed, it's cuuute!)

Another good thing about this house is that it has nice, new, finished floors. In my old one it was all rough and we were always getting slivers.

Best part of my new abode? My parent's new modem is nice to my computer and I FINALLY have wireless. The old router hated my laptop. I swear that thing was possessed.

Just two poopy things....
1. My TINY ass bedroom window likes roasting me & I have like no view whatsoever
2. I have a lot of mosquito bites from being outside during moving ><

But hey, no more packing!

...moving physically, NOT on dA!

I've been working my ass off to get rid of stuff and to get stuff packed. It's coming down to the wire now, as on tuesday I'm leaving my hometown where I grew up for who-knows-how-long. Perhaps for good. I don't know if many people can really relate with how this feels, but I can tell you it isn't very nice. I truly don't want to leave my hometown. This is where I grew up - this is where I've written like all my manuscripts and where I've gone to school. My whole life has been here. But now I'm leaving. I still can't believe it. Maybe it'll sink in when I wake up wednesday morning with no papers to do in a strange room.

I need to register for my college. Too bad it's effing sunday. I can't call in to get my webmail repaired.

Well, today was supposed to be my last day of my newspaper route, but I woke up and some idiot from my company did my job for me. Um, sorry, but when somebody says 'last day' they mean that they want to WORK that day Morning Star. Jeez! I probably missed like $50 worth of tips. In any case, I went out with my wagon for old times sake and people seemed content to tip me anyway. This one guy gave me $100! Seriously! At first I thought the bill was a $20 then I realized it was the wrong colour. It was insane. Altogether I earned $215.15 on my paper route today from tips. Fricking insane! I'm totally putting it into savings. If I don't end up spending it out of need in college, it'll go towards AOH's publication. So far I have $488.15 saved. That's half of what I need! I've decided that no matter what, I'm going to do my best to get AOH published in 2010, so it could be out in late 2010 or 2011. That's the hope anyway! I'm determined. It will likely be a while after AOH that its sequel Born of Fire is published though, seeing as it desperately needs to be rewritten. At this point, this is the status of the manuscripts as well as their order. (Listed in order that they'll be worked on, not in order of storyline.)

Emperor's Blood - 90% written, to be finished by August
Ashes of Hope - to be published in 2010, one final edit this summer, then a hard copy of the manuscript will be printed
Kingdom of Spirits (Not part of Rimer Series) - to be written this summer, probably published around the same time as AOH or a little while after
Sky Wolf - writing will begin this fall/winter
Born of Fire - to be rewritten completely after SW is complete, hopefully published in 2012
Ultimate Risk - to be rewritten completely after BOF is complete, hopefully published in 2014
CANIDAE - (By me and Aleria Carventus, non-Rimarian) - storyline to be worked on from now until 2010, production starts in 2010
First Mage - In planning. Will be worked out by the time I go to write it for sure. Same with rest of story concepts.

WTF happened while I was out?! Whyyyyy? Now dA is all uncomfortable on my eyes 'cus it's all changed. *whines* Oh well, I'll get used to it soon enough I expect.


Well, the power's been out here for two days and it just came back on. It was TORTURE. No computer, no food, just candle light, fairly good books and the hell that is packing. I filled up this huge ass box today full of clothes, so it actually finally does look like I'm making progress in the packing department - huzzah! I feel a little less retarded. This weekend I'm going to be packing hardcore, so up until I move, there likely won't be ANYTHING NEW. KK? Because it'll be a few days before I'm settled into mah new place and I likely won't have internet for a little while.

I'm going to try and post a new chapter of Kingdom of Spirits today or tomorrow. The thing is written, I just need to get my stupid ass in gear and draw the preview pic.

My last paper day is on sunday. I'm sad...

PACKING IS HELL.
