Heheheh, notice anything different about this 'ere landscape?

Hint: IT'S TRADITIONAL! Real acrylic paint on canvass! The only digital thing I did to it was hide my sig in the grass with photoshop. This looks less blue in real life, I think my scanner is stupid. Colours are totally messed, but I still love it! This is a random portrait of the lake country in Escavia, which is an area Zack, Kayli, Sarah and Mo pass through during the events of Ashes of Hope. My absolute favourite thing about this painting is of course Zenith. The whole scene to me, just looks so calm and nice, and I'd love to go hiking there along the hill tops and lake shores.

Region Information: The lake country of Escavia is actually part of the Escavian steppe, a gentle, rolling landscape with scant trees, punctuated by large deep, calm lakes. This is an eco-system with few predators and many prey species. But because of the populations of draco raptors that call this land home, humans do not dare live here. Herds of wild horses, steppe deer (cousins of sand and rock deer) and tarma live in this land. Clans of falcolfs are the only other predators and they do not hunt horses. Small, fast and long legged falla related to pepper wolves that live here are steppe wolves, who hunt in small groups and are seldom seen, fearing bigger predators. These small specialized prey hunters eat carrion, ziggoos, birds and tarma. Not much is known about them and few have seen them, though records say they look much like smaller versions of pepper wolves, only with bigger ears and less bold markings.
