*sniggers wildly at title*
I bet most people won't get it, but the title is rather hilarious if you know the meaning of one of the character's names who is featured here.
This was largely inspired by
's rendition of a scene in EB with Eqaetz and Spiira (so making her concept of Eqaetz his like official design ) which you can see here---> [link]
Because I have a habit of sketching really epic pictures and never finishing them, I wanted to submit this just in case I never got around to tackling this beast of a picture, which depicts a scene that I still have to write in EB.
Not much I hate about this pic:
-Ki's face. (though that is easily fixed...)
-Ki's sword (again... easily fixed)
-Eqaetz's groin for some reason.
-Eqaetz's hindquarters make me twitch for some reason.
-The face that Keel and Hunter aren't really shown. (Perhaps I should draw more on the one end?!)
-Not enough of Meeka and Mystaya are in the picture
-Where the deuce is Commander Garrison?!!
-The BG is slightly meh.
-Needs some lances sticking out above the chargers.
-Eqaetz's cavalry saddle has something funky about it.
-Ki's hand on the sword is ew.
I thought I'd list my personal critiques for the picture for once, just so that if people critique it they don't say anything I've noticed. (Which is annoying.)
Stuff I LOVE about this picture:
-Composition. Looks balanced with all the horses/riders to one end of it and emptiness on the other side.
-Eqaetz looks so freaking fast
-The Escavian War Horses really look like they're in a race or something
-Darr looks nicely terrified/clinging to Ki
- How Ki appears to actually be leading the charge and stuff and how his feet are in the stirrups, which makes him look like a good rider
-Hoshi is
-Meeka and Mystaya flanking Eqaetz is!!
-The random soldier's head.
-Wilikai and her females flying overhead.
-Teh feeling of SPEED yay.
-How Meeka & Mystaya are the only horses with pricked up ears (you can tell their opinions of fighting...)
Rar. So that's me critiquing the hell outa my own work.
Trust me, I'm often even crueler than that.
