Sorry it's sketchy, but here's my rendition of Sadie, the adorable little calico from my best friend and base colourest (not to mention editor) *AleriaCarventus' Invisible. Checkit out!
Probably isn't a known fact to most people who have read Aleria's story, but Sadie is based off of a real cat that she had that I met. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember the real Sadie's markings since the last time I saw her was almost a decade ago, so I sort of winged it and tried to remember how the pelts of most calicos look. Sorry if it sucks. >< I tried to make her cute anyway. Now, back to work on editing and page 4.... This goes with my new years resolution to give art to people who deserve it! Aleria certainly deserves it, because not only does she edit all my manuscripts for me, but she also does a LOT of the base colouring for my art including my comic so to save time in production. Expect more sketchy art like this. It takes less work and it's more fun, so I can work out ideas for more finished work faster. Calicos are cuuuute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stock paper bg from Sadie (c) |

"Hope is the denial of reality. It is the carrot dangled before the draft horse to keep him plodding along in a vain attempt to reach it."
'Are you saying we shouldn't hope?'
"I'm saying we should remove the carrot and walk forward with our eyes open"
