Finally uploaded! Now I can mail it 
. (Once I find a safe way to ship it anyway...) This is the first time I've given away the original of a piece in years. 
(First time I've felt proud giving away the original too.)
It's #871 in a floofy winter coat for Christmas!
He's doing sentry duty I think. He looks alert, but I bet he's bored.
I'M SO SORRY I FORGOT HIS COLLAR!
I also didn't know about the cute curl he has in his tail when I drew this - maybe he's just so tired of standing around that he straightened it out. 
I love his gas mask.
I didn't photoshop out the undersketch on this one.

Sentry duty, you're almost exactly right! He does do a bit of that in the novel. No worries about the collar, I added that recently and it's my fault I don't have a proper ref sheet up. And his tail is fine! He's bored so his tail's relaxed.

His gas mask looks so epic and evil, I love love love it, and the shading on the whole thing is awesome and HIS PAWS ARE SO DANG ADORABLE!!!!! And the little shoot of grass is a cute touch.
